The Wicked Forever King Awakens Soon

The signs portend an awakening of the Forever King! 

Table Cat Games is proud to announce that its first Kickstarter is coming soon with “The Wicked Forever King Hungers.”

The Forever King is a dark fantasy, rules light table top role playing game featuring a group of desperate Heretics hoping to spoil the King’s hunger. It features mechanics inspired by Lasers and Feelings, the popular and proven mechanics light ttrpg.

It also features a “doom clock” in the form of “The Rise of Orgoth”. When the dread moon reaches its apex, the King’s power is at its fullest and the Heretics fail. 

The game is a mix of gritty darkness mixed with some humor and horror. It’s a real trip!

Why Kickstarter?

The Kickstarter will be to fund a pdf form of the game and will be a very low threshold for initial funding. We’re hoping at the bare minimum to pay for proofreading. After that we’re hoping to expand things a little (see below).

We’re also running this Kickstarter in order to get practice running a Kickstarter. It’s much easier to handle a small scale, non print crowdfunding in order to ramp up to a big project like the Street Wolves print edition. But don’t worry, I’ve put as much thought and care into this small project as I would a big one. You’ll def get your support’s worth out of this one.

Stretch Goals

While I can’t get into the specifics right now, because they’re being planned. However, I will say that things like more world building prompts and lore on the the table. There’s also character sheets and a tracker for the Rise of Orgoth. Plus, maybe some fun art!
