Street Wolves Kickstarter Update 3

Street Wolves: Turbo Edition update time!

Street Wolves: Turbo Edition Core Book

First pass at the layout refresh is complete. Now the focus is to place new art as it comes in.

I also got draft 1 of the cover done here’s a sneak preview:

Yes, it is very similar to the original release, but when it was a digital only book it didn’t need a spine and back cover before. I may update it and make adjustments here and there, but it’s at about 90% of the way there now.

I’m narrowing down what the interior page spreads are going to look like. The goal is to create something colorful and simple, but reflecting the aesthetics of Street Wolves. Here’s some previews.

Art

The Art Wolves are furiously illustrating and it takes time to make rad art, but we do have a couple of early pieces that I can share. They're not done, but we're really excited so we can't help ourselves:

The above characters are some illustrations done by Nat Bug

The above is a bunch of new art that will go into the gear section (and a boat). It's by Gunmetal Draws

Music

I've also heard two "scratch tracks" from our composer J Strautman. They were early sample demos and they're totally radical! I can't wait until they're more finalized and we can share a preview of them. The music will 100% get you into the feel of Street Wolves.

Adventures & Campaign

No new updates for most of this stuff, but I did start a test run of “Point of No Return” the adventure going to the legacy backers. Even though I’ve tested it multiple times in the early days of Street Wolves, I’ve found some new holes and things that need to be tightened up a bit.

Merch and Stretch Goal Items

All merch is more or less on hold with the number one focus is on the layout refresh of the core book. But I do fiddle with stuff here and there in between things.

  • Bennies: I have the poker chips I’m going to use in hand and I have the designs I want to put on them. I wanted to make these myself because I really wanted the stickers to pop. I didn’t trust a wholesaler in China to get it done. Maybe they could, but it felt too risky. So I’m going to be placing the stickers on all 1,000+ poker chips myself. The prototype version looks great (even better in person). I’m going to alter the background color a bit to make the wolf pop more, but other than that I’ve been really satisfied with the results.

  • Wild Die: Ordered them from Chessex!

  • NPC Cards: On hold.

  • USB Tapes: On hold.

  • Pins: On hold.

  • Stickers: On hold.

  • Supply Boxes: On hold.

  • Pet and Vehicle Sheets: On hold.

  • Plain Text Street Wolves: On hold.

  • Printed Jumpstart: Done.

  • Dice Bags: Done.

Backerkit Pre-Order Store

Did you miss the Kickstarter? The Backerkit pre-order store is now available to purchase Street Wolves: Turbo Edition, Dead Hand, or a Wolfpack wild die.

Campaign Surveys

If you’re an eagle eyed reader you’ll notice that I just added this category to the updates. I figured it would be good to keep track of them here too.

Surveys are on hold a bit. They’ll go out when some more milestones are hit and we’ve got a better idea on the print time frame.
